We can hardly believe it - Gabriel and Stacey got on a plane! YEAH! The World Food Programme (WFP) was so kind as to give them two seats on a flight that wasn't even listed. Watch Day 4 video at http://StopGenocideNow.org.
After they landed, they visited a refugee camp. Gabriel expressed his mixed feelings, "It feels really good to be here because it's what we wanted to do. But then [...] I was here a year ago [...] there were just a few refugees. Now it's more than triple the size than it was then." Hear the rest of his comments in Day 4 video at http://StopGenocideNow.org.
We all share Gabriel's mixed feelings of joy that there is still hope for survivors and disappointment that the problem has been permitted to fester. Our role in this struggle is to reduce that disappointment and add to the hope by believing that one major reason for inaction is that people do not know enough about Darfur. And how can YOU change that?
By learning the facts and rejecting the myths. Hunt down the answers to the following True or False questions:
1. President of Sudan (al-Beshir) continues to deny involvement with the atrocities 2. African Union (AU) peacekeepers now on the ground do NOT have the mandate to protect 3. The United Nations has stopped short of calling the Darfur crisis a genocide 4. The government of Sudan accuses the world of exaggerating the number of deaths

Answers will be posted under Day 4 "Action" tomorrow.
